  Kit Ashton, lead singer of local band Badlabecques, has been working together with the Jersey Music Service and l'Office du Jèrriais to develop a project that is taking place in two stages. First, he has been going into schools with Gina McLinton and Katy Parker from the Jersey Music Service to teach Jersey's national anthem Man Bieau P'tit Jèrri to school children. Then at the beginning of the summer term a choir will perform the song on Liberation Day as part of the entertainment at the informal street party celebrations at the Weighbridge.
